Service Delivery Manager
Kim has had a career spanning academia, a Swiss private research institute, an enterprise software company (Microsoft Seattle) and start-ups. His roles have encompassed development, test, team and technical management, security incident management and program management. Kim started off working on research into multimedia indexing. At Microsoft Kim worked on the .NET Framework, Windows Presentation Framework, Windows OS, started a Sustainability team for Microsoft Research, and ran Software Security Incident Response for the Microsoft Security Response Centre. Kim has managed teams from small prototyping teams, to a 120+ person test team. As security incident response manager Kim routinely worked with Distinguished Engineers and senior VPs at Microsoft, and ran technical teams across the Microsoft product portfolio. As SDM at Lateral Kim’s role is building effective teams and continually improving the quality and predictability of delivery, while keeping the customers and the troops happy.
