Lateral in the USA

We at Lateral are very excited to be working with Control Systems Software from Iowa.  Although we are 17,000 kilometres and 11 hours apart we share many common values and a dedication to customer service.

Control Systems Software L.L.C. is a Member Owned and Member Driven organisation; it provides a complete suite of applications to fit agribusiness information needs.  CSS Membership consists of some of the most progressive Global agribusiness companies.

In the May edition of their newsletter to members they published a story about Lateral:

“CSS has implemented the Membership directive to modernize the CONTROL® Information System.

Carol Stewart, CEO of Control Systems Software, LLC, met Rick Harvey, Chairman of Lateral IT Solutions, at the LANSA conference two years ago and had discussions there. There was a second meeting in Melbourne, Australia, in February 2010. Carol invited him to our offices for more discussion.

We have no problem communicating business and development concepts. They work as a team just like CSS. Because of several major development projects, Lateral has accumulated understanding of how to provide effective and efficient LANSA development.

In our discussions, we identified several areas where Lateral could work with CSS to expedite development. We can assist with bringing CONTROL® concepts into a modern environment which is better able to handle a changing marketplace.

As Rick said, ‘I am pleased to be here at Carol’s request. We want to be a development resource for CSS, on-demand, to keep the LANSA development on-track. This is an opportunity for Lateral to share what we have learned in twenty years of LANSA development. We can mentor CSS staff in several skill sets to provide cost-effective services with more continuity than an outsourcing firm or contract programmers.

Our on-demand services are completely flexible. You pay only for the expertise and support time you use.

There is no ‘down-time’. You can always be in control of our budget and project.”
